Day 1: Lima
Our staff meets you at the airport and transports you to the hotel.

Day 2: Lima - City Tour
This excursion includes a combination of Pre-Hispanic era, colonial period, and modern Lima, and enables the visitor to get acquainted with Lima's complete history.  The tour takes you to the historical center, Paseo la República, San Martín Square, Main Square, Government Palace, Basilica Cathedral, City Hall Palace, and colonial mansions.  It also visits the convent and church of San Francisco, the greatest monumental assembly of colonial art in America. The tour continues through the residential areas of San Isidro, Miraflores and modern Lima.

Day 3: Lima - Arequipa
Morning -  You will be transported from the hotel in Lima to the airport for a flight to Arequipa.  After arrival and transportation to the hotel, you will have the day free.

Day 4: Arequipa - Colca Canyon
We will depart Arequipa, passing near the thermal baths of Yura and climbing up towards the National Reserve of Pampa de Cañahuas, which is situated at 3,800 m.a.s.l. Here, groups of alpacas, vicuñas and sometimes guanacos can be seen. After driving several hours, the group descends into the Colca Valley until we arrive at Chivay, the most important town of the valley.  We will spend the night in a hotel set in the Colca Valley with its very own hot springs, relaxing in the fabulous surroundings of the Canyon.

Day 5: Arequipa - Colca Canyon
After breakfast and an early departure, we will reach the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, a few kilometers before Cabanaconde, where the Colca Canyon starts. Here you will enjoy fine views of the flight of condors and views into the mighty canyon's depths. In the afternoon, we will return to Arequipa and to the hotel.

Day 6: Arequipa - Puno
Early in the morning, we will travel to the bus station to catch a tourist bus to Puno.

Day 7: Puno - Uros - Amantani
Early in the morning we will board a boat and travel to the floating reed islands of the Uros, then continue for approximately two hours by boat to reach the Amantani Island.  After a guided tour by this island, we will have lunch and enjoy an overnight home stay with a local family.

Day 8: Amantani - Puno
Return by boat to Puno, where you will stay the night.

Day 9: Puno - Cusco
Travel by bus to Cusco, passing through small towns like Pukara, La Raya Pass (hot springs, 4,330 m.a.s.l).  Continue to Sicuani and Raqchi, and spend the afternoon visiting Andahuaylillas before arriving at the hotel in Cusco.

Day 10: Cusco
PM - Cusco City Tour
Duration: From 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
The tour includes the most significant sites in and around Cusco City, such as the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), which displays the best Inca stonework in the city, and the Cathedral in Cusco's Main Square with its magnificent colonial art. The tour drives along the Circunvalacion Road up to the famous fortress of Saqsahuaman, the amphitheatre of Qenqo, the fortress of Pukapukara and the spring shrine of Tambomachay. Included: Spanish and English speaking professional guide, Tourist ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins as well, round trip transportation by bus At night we will enjoy a buffet dinner (typical show included).

Day 11: Sacred Valley Tour
Sacred Valley of the Incas tour
Duration: 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
The tour includes a guided visit to the native market of Pisaq, where you can purchase beautiful textiles, jewelry and ceramics at bargain prices.  Our next stops will be Calca and Urubamba, where we will have lunch.  We will continue to Ollantaytambo, where the group will visit the archaeological site, and then visit Chinchero's market.
Included: Spanish and English speaking professional guide, Tourist ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins as well, round trip transportation by bus.

Day 12: Inca Trail 4D/3N Cusco - Piscacucho - Wayllabamba
We will depart from Cusco and travel to Urubamba. We will stop briefly at Ollaytaytambo where you can buy last minute gear and personal needs. Then, we move on to Piscacucho (Km 82) and the start of the Inca Trail. We will have lunch in Miskay and relax a bit before hiking to our first campsite. Along the way we will visit the Llactapata archeological site.

Day 13: Inca Trail 4D/3N Wayllabamba - Warmiwañusca - Pacaymayo
We will have breakfast early and start trekking to the highest point of the Inca Trail, where we can see different ecological zones and enjoy changing climates. We will cross the Warmiwañusca pass at 4200 meters above sea level. After lunch we will continue on to the campsite at Pacaymayo and enjoy dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 14: Inca Trail 4D/3N Pacaymayo - Chaquicocha - Wiñaywayna
We will walk approximately 45 minutes to reach the second pass at 3850 meters above sea level and visit Runcuracay along the way. We will also visit the Sayacmarca archaeological group and continue on to the Phuyupatamarca ruins. After lunch we will head to Wiñaywayna, where we will spend our last night.

Day 15: Inca Trail 4D/3N Wiñaywayna - Machupicchu - Cusco
After an early breakfast, we will start on the final leg of the trek to Machu Picchu. We will arrive at Inti Punku, where we will have a panoramic view of the Machu Picchu citadel. After a short hike down to Machu Picchu, we will register and start our 3 hour guided visit. After enjoying the ruins, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you will have a buffet lunch in a typical restaurant and then have free time to enjoy the town before we return to Cusco.

Day 17: Cusco - Puerto Maldonado. Ecoadventure Program 4D/3N
Monkey Island
You arrive at Puerto Maldonado, the biodiversity capital of Peru. After a reception at the airport, you will ride to the city center by bus. You will depart from the port and travel down the Madre de Dios River. During the trip, you will see caimans, turtles, herons and other species of animals along the riverbanks. When you arrive in the ECOAMAZONIA LODGE, you will be served an exquisite welcome drink, after which you will have time to settle in to your bungalows and eat lunch. In the afternoon, you will travel with our specialized guide to Monkey Island, which is only 5 minutes from the Lodge. During your hike through the island, you will observe extraordinary scenery and flora that shelters a tremendous variety of monkeys in their natural habitat, such as the Black Spider Monkey, Capuchin Monkey, Tamarins, Squirrel Monkeys, and the South American Coati, as well as a number of bird species. You will complete your visit to Monkey Island by enjoying the sunset and then returning to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 18: Ecoadventure Program 4D/3N
Lost Cocha
After breakfast you begin your guided adventure through the virgin rainforest on foot to the Lost Cocha. The Lost Cocha is a protected ecosystem sustaining an immense variety of animals, including giant otters, caimans, turtles, Brazilian tapirs "sachavacas", colorful birds, the majestic jaguar, and diverse fish species. This area is a unique part of the Ecoamazonia Reserve, because its immense swamps and marshes still remain fully intact today. Later, you will arrive at our extraordinary Amazon Watch Tower, built at the top of an immense tree (the Shihuahuaco), from which you can appreciate the full and magical beauty of the rainforest. You will also go for a pleasant canoe ride around the lake, after which you will return to the Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon there is another canoe trip down the river to visit a local family living in the rainforest. Finally, you will return to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 19: Ecoadventure Program 4D/3N
Gamitana River or Briolo River
You start the day with breakfast and then begin another trip through the magical rainforest, navigating down the Madre de Dios River to the path that leads to the Gamitana and Briolo rivers. These rivers, born from the innermost virgin forest, form impressive serpentine channels through which you will travel by canoe while observing animals only an arm's length away. You will also have the opportunity to fish and swim in the crystalline waters of the Gamitana River. Finally you will return to the Lodge for dinner.

After breakfast, we will transport you to the airport in Puerto Maldonado for your flight to Lima.
