Two and a half hours away from Cusco or ninety kilometers by car and two hours climbing up from soraypampa village you can find this treasure

ITINERARY

Very early in the morning at 4.45 a.m. we pick you up at your hotel in Cusco in order to start the trip to Mollepata town wich is the last town before we start the walk up to Humantay lake. During the trip by car we pass through picturesque villages like Izcuchaca, Zurite, Ancahuasi until we reach the Willkie pass from this point we can appreciate the Salkantay mountain and it’s splendour at the same time the Limatambo valley and town famous for being the best Avocado in Peru wich is exported to all over the world , we will pass throught Limatambo then take the detour to Mollepata until arriving the head of trail Challacancha and Soraypampa.(3,600 mts altitude) After a short stop and organize by your own you will start the trek up to Humantay mountain and after almost two hours walking arrival to Humantay lagoon ,( 4,200 mts altitude),and appreciate one of the most exciting places a tour guide and time to take pictures for around one hour we will return down hill to Soraypampa and challacancha where we take a break to have lunch and back to Cusco , drop in dontown B/L
