Day 1:
Arrival in Lima and transportation to the hotel

Day 2: Lima - Puerto Maldonado. Ecoadventure Program 4D/3N Monkey Island
In the morning, you will be transported to the Lima airport for the flight to Puerto Maldonado. After two hours, you will arrive in Puerto Maldonado, the biodiversity capital of Peru. After a reception at the airport, you will ride to the city center by bus. You will depart from the port and travel down the Madre de Dios River. During the trip, you will see caimans, turtles, herons and other species of animals along the riverbanks. When you arrive in the ECOAMAZONIA LODGE, you will be served an exquisite welcome drink, after which you will have time to settle in to your bungalows and eat lunch. In the afternoon, you will travel with our specialized guide to Monkey Island, which is only 5 minutes from the Lodge. During your hike through the island, you will observe extraordinary scenery and flora that shelters a tremendous variety of monkeys in their natural habitat, such as the Black Spider Monkey, Capuchin Monkey, Tamarins, Squirrel Monkeys, and the South American Coati, as well as a number of bird species. You will complete your visit to Monkey Island by enjoying the sunset and then returning to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Eco-adventure Program 4D/3N Lost Cocha
After breakfast you begin your guided adventure through the virgin rainforest on foot to the Lost Cocha. The Lost Cocha is a protected ecosystem sustaining an immense variety of animals, including giant otters, caimans, turtles, Brazilian tapirs "sachavacas", colorful birds, the majestic jaguar, and diverse fish species. This area is a unique part of the Ecoamazonia Reserve, because its immense swamps and marshes still remain fully intact today. Later, you will arrive at our extraordinary Amazon Watch Tower, built at the top of an immense tree (the Shihuahuaco), from which you can appreciate the full and magical beauty of the rainforest. You will also go for a pleasant canoe ride around the lake, after which you will return to the Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon there is another canoe trip down the river to visit a local family living in the rainforest. Finally, you will return to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 4: Eco-adventure Program 4D/3N Gamitana or Briolo river
You start the day with breakfast and then begin another trip through the magical rainforest, navigating down the Madre de Dios River to the path that leads to the Gamitana and Briolo rivers. These rivers, born from the innermost virgin forest, form impressive serpentine channels through which you will travel by canoe while observing animals only an arm's length away. You will also have the opportunity to fish and swim in the crystalline waters of the Gamitana River. Finally you will return to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 5: Eco-adventure Program 4D/3N. Puerto Maldonado - Cusco
After breakfast, you will be transported to the Puerto Maldonado airport for a 45-minutes flight to Cusco. We will bring you to the hotel, and you will have the rest of the day free.

Day 6: City Tour
1:30 pm: We will embark on a guided city tour, which will include the cathedral, Qoricancha temple, the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman overlooking Cusco, Qenko and Puka Pukara. We will return to the hotel and have dinner in the evening, followed by a folkloric show.

Day 7: Sacred Valley
8:30 am: We will make full-day excursion to Urubamba, the sacred valley of the Incas and to the ancient Inca market town of Pisac. We will have lunch in Urubamba and then visit Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town that was not defeated by the Spanish. You will have a chance to explore the ruins before returning to Cusco and the traditional market town of Chinchero. At the end of the day, we will return you to your hotel.

Day 8: Inca Trail 4D/3N Cusco - Piscacucho - Wayllabamba
We will depart from Cusco and travel to Urubamba. We will stop briefly at Ollaytaytambo where you can buy last minute gear and personal needs. Then, we move on to Piscacucho (Km 82) and the start of the Inca Trail. We will have lunch in Miskay and relax a bit before hiking to our first campsite. Along the way we will visit the Llactapata archeological site. Lunch and dinner are included.

Day 9: Inca Trail 4D/3N Wayllabamba - Warmiwañusca - Pacaymayo
We'll start the day, early in the morning, with a hearty breakfast, and then hike up to the highest point of the Inca Trail. Here, we can literally see the various ecological zones and microclimates that make up the area mapped out in front of us. We will cross the Warmiwañusca pass at 4,200 meters/13,780 feet above sea level. After lunch we will continue on to the Pacaymayo campsite, where we will enjoy dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 10: Inca Trail 4D/3N Pacaymayo - Chaquicocha - Wiñaywayna
Our day begins with a nutritious breakfast and then a 45-minute hike up to the second highest pass on the Trail (3,850 meters/12,631 feet above sea level). Along the way we will visit the Runcuracay archeological site. During the day's hike, we will also visit the Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca archeological complexes. After lunch we will head to the Wiñaywayna ruins, where we will spend our last night on the Trail.

Day 11: Inca Trail 4D/3N Wiñaywayna - Machupicchu - Cusco
After an early breakfast, we begin the final leg of the trek to the lost city of Machu Picchu. First, we will hike to Inti Punku ("Sun Gate"), where we will take in an awe inspiring and panoramic view of the Machu Picchu citadel. After a short hike down to Machu Picchu, we will register and then enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of the sanctuary-city. After the tour of Machu Picchu, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes where we will eat lunch and have free time to enjoy the town before returning to Cusco by train.

Day 12: Cusco - River Rafting Tour
At 9:00 AM we leave for the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (north of Cusco), where our guide will give us an introductory chat on safety and equipment for our trip running the Urubamba. We will raft for around 2 ½ hours and return to Cusco around 5:00 pm

Day 13: Cusco -Lima
We will bring you to the airport for your flight back to Lima
